Diane Schuur and Bobby Caldwell swing into Kohler Friday, Feb. 12
The voices of jazz greats Diane "Deedles" Schuur and Bobby Caldwell will fill Kohler Memorial Theatre Friday, Feb. 12 at a 7 p.m. one-night-only show.
Their dual performances in "The Sing in Swing," will take a look back at the swing and big band era, with homages to Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and other greats.
Schuur and Caldwell boast solo careers that span three decades.
Born blind, Grammy Award-winning Schuur supplements her haunting voice with piano prowess to remain a jazz/pop force, while Caldwell's versatile style makes him a smooth live performer and songwriter. Both continue to influence many of today's young artists.
This show is the second in a three-part series for the Kohler Foundation's annual Distinguished Guest Series.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.kohlerfoundation.org/tickets or by calling (920) 458-1972. Group discounts are available. Tickets are $45 and $35; student tickets are $23 and $18.
