Friday 2/12 -- Tango Heats up Oakland Ave.

Warm up a February Friday night on 2/12 with a performance of Argentine Tango at Open Book.

 

Get introduced to this passionate art form by the Elixir Dancers, featuring former North Shore resident Nina Tatarowicz. Live music will be by Quinteto Yzafa from Madison.

 

Nina currently teaches and performs tango in Chicago and Buenos Aires.

 

The doors open at 7:00pm and the performance begins at 8:00pm. Refreshments will be served.

 

The performance will be followed by tango lessons and a dance.

 

Tickets are available at the store:

 

$10 for Open Book members in advance / $15 at the door

$15 for nonmembers (price can be applied to an Open Book membership)

$15 Cabaret seating

 

Open Book is at 4093 N. Oakland Ave. in Shorewood, and can be reached at 414-431-3170.
