Warfare between Good and Evil makes for Suspenseful Theatre
Morning Star Productions opens its season with a rarely produced Eugene O’Neill play, Days Without End.
Eugene O’Neil uses the technique of two actors simultaneously playing one character to depict the intense struggle going on inside John Loving.
John, played by Steve Koehler, is his generous, idealistic half, and Loving, played by Michael Lague is his baser self. The split began with a single act of adultery, ashamed and afraid his wife Elsa (Brenda LaMalfa) won’t be able to forgive him, John spirals into the depths of darkness. Will John destroy himself and his wife as well, or will he be able to stand up against the evil that lurks in his heart? This suspenseful play will keep you on the edge of your seat.
