Email is a great way to keep in touch with family and friends, but it can be confusing for first time users. Eastcastle Place—a vibrant senior living community located on Milwaukee’s East Side—invites seniors to attend “Email Made Easy” on Friday, April 24 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Lindsay Hall.
The presentation is a continuation of Kristin Formolo’s exciting internet series designed specifically for seniors. Attendees will learn all about email, including how to pick out an email address that protects privacy and an overview of the signing up process. Seniors will also learn how to “navigate” around the email box, send email, attach photos or documents and recognize spam, scams, and hoaxes. The presentation bypasses all of the “techie talk” and explains practical topics in a way that’s easy to understand.
The event is free, and seniors must reserve a space. For more information and to make reservations, contact Ashley at (414) 963-8489. For a complete listing of monthly events at Eastcastle Place, visit www.EastcastlePlace.com.
