Free Showing of "Life of Pi"

The Glendale Senior Citizens' Club will watch "Life of Pi" in the clubroom on the lower level of Glen Hills Middle School, 2600 W. Mill Road, at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 26. Nonmembers are always welcome at club events. Call (414) 540-2100 with questions.

The 2012 film focuses on a 16-year-old Indian boy who survives a shipwreck in the Pacific Ocean. While cast away, he forms an amazing connection with another survivor, a fearsome Bengal tiger with whom he shares a lifeboat. The movie was nominated for 11 Academy Awards last year and won 4, including Best Director for Ang Lee.
