Green Bay Packers youth football camps set for summer
The Green Bay Packers are offering youth football camps throughout the area this summer.
The camps are week-long, non-contact, day camps.
Camps are designed for players ages 6-14 who will learn to run, throw, catch and defend.
The camps cost $325 and offer comprehensive football skill instruction while maintaining a 10:1 student to instructor ratio. Overall, there are 12 camps this summer, including one at the Glendale Jewish Community Center , 6401 N. Santa Monica Drive, Monday through Friday, July 20 to 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Milwaukee Bucks plan summer camps for youth
The Milwaukee Bucks are offering a series of summer basketball camps for boys and girls in grades two through eight.
Monday-through-Thursday sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 3 through 6, Nicolet High School.
The camps will be directed by Aaron Sovern, who has directed youth basketball camps for over 13 years. The camps' priorities will be confidence building, sportsmanship values, academic encouragement, team play and basic basketball skill development.
The camp fee of $150 includes a Bucks practice jersey, a basketball, a free ticket to a 2009-10 Bucks preseason and regular-season home game, a visit from a Bucks player, former player or assistant coach during the week, an online photo with camp team and coach, a certificate and awards ceremony and 2009-10 Bucks special offers and benefits.
