1A 14-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for disorderly conduct after being disruptive and profane during a class at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th Street, at 8:30 a.m. June 29. The girl called her teacher a vulgar name and threw a bottle of juice when told she was to be arrested. She fought with police and denied she was disruptive, saying everyone in class was talking.
2A 46-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of $980 worth of liquor at Pick 'n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, at 6 p.m. June 29. The woman worked in the store's liquor department from March 9 until she was seen on surveillance video pretending to scan liquor purchases. She admitted to the theft and also to other thefts adding up to more than $5,000. She also admitted being addicted to crack cocaine and said the liquor she had not scanned was for her cocaine dealer and his girlfriend.
3A contractor's construction tools valued at more than $2,000 were taken from his vehicle at Brown Deer Middle School, 5757 W. Dean Road, between 2 and 3 p.m. June 30. A car window was broken to gain entry.
4A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of 1.8 grams of marijuana when her car was stopped for nonregistration in the 4400 block of West Bradley Road at 9:30 p.m. July 1. The drug was found in her pants pocket, and she appeared surprised because she thought she had taken it out.
5A 41-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he was seen driving 25 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 7500 block of North Green Bay Road at 1 a.m. July 4. His blood-alcohol content was 0.08.
6A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 6000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:30 a.m. July 4. The man stopped at a red light and did not move when it turned green. He was asleep in the car and after being awakened, admitted to having six beers and three shots of vodka, adding he had "too much to drink."
7A 20-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for underage drinking and possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia in the 6000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:30 a.m. July 4. The heroin, a straw and razor were found in a pocket of her jeans. She told police she'd borrowed the jeans from a friend and the heroin belonged to that friend but the straw belonged to her.
8A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and driving after revocation in the 6300 block of West Brown Deer Road at 3:30 a.m. July 4. He told police he had just gotten out of jail and could he "get a break." His BAC was 0.16.
9Two Milwaukee men, 29 and 33, were arrested for drunken driving after both were seen driving the same car in the 1800 block of Fox Lane about 5 p.m. July 2. A witness reported seeing one man driving erratically, stopping the car in the middle of the road and then exchanging places with the passenger. That man drove to Doctor's Park where both were arrested. The younger man had one prior arrest for drunken driving and the older man had two priors with another pending.
10A 47-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving with a prior conviction and driving with a revoked license and a suspended registration after a witness reported him driving erratically in the 1500 block of East Green Tree Road at 11 p.m. July 4. As police arrived, the witness saw the man stop the car and jump into the back seat. The man admitted to police he had been drinking but denied he had been driving. His BAC was 0.29.
11An 83-year-old woman reported being the victim of an attempted strong-armed robbery in the River Point Shopping Center, 8740 N. Port Washington Road, at 10:30 a.m. July 7. As she was getting into her car, a man grabbed her arm and said, "I want your ring." When she started to yell, the man said, "Just kidding," and ran off.
12Two 20-year-old men, of Glendale and Fox Point, were arrested for underage drinking in the 100 block of West Dean Road at 2:45 a.m. July 9. The Glendale man's BAC was 0.16 and the Fox Point man's was 0.07.
13A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of steaks valued at more than $150 from Pick 'n Save, 6969 N. Port Washington Road, at 8:30 a.m. June 29. The steaks were found in his car after he was arrested for theft of a bottle of vodka from CVS Pharmacy in Fox Point.
14A wallet and contents, including a Visa card, was taken from a purse at Parkway School, 5910 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, on June 30. Before the theft was discovered, the card was used to purchase two cartons of cigarettes valued at $116 from Speedway, 6170 N. Green Bay Avenue, at 5:20 p.m. June 30 and 10 minutes later to purchase four more cartons of cigarettes valued at $174, also at Speedway. About 15 minutes later, a 33-year-old Milwaukee man attempted to buy milk, eggs and four more cartons of cigarettes, and this time the clerk told him the card was stolen. The man ran from the store but was arrested in the 800 block of West Riverview Drive on July 6.
15Three cars were broken into in the parking lot of Manpower, 5055 N. Lydell Avenue, sometime during the day July 1. No items were reported missing, and the amount of damage was not available.
16A leather tool pouch, tools and other items valued at more than $300 were taken from the saddle bag of a motorcycle parked in the back lot of Super 8, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 7:30 p.m. July 1.
17A 23-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for possession of 0.2 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia including needles and a heroin cooking kit after she was arrested for theft at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 8:30 p.m. July 2. Five Brewers jerseys and two pairs of women's sandals were found in her car. She admitted taking the sandals but said the other items were stolen by another woman who was still at the mall "stealing." A 23-year-old Milwaukee man, identified as a look out, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for theft.
18A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for underage drinking after a report of an intoxicated boy at Glendale Days, 6560 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, at 7:30 p.m. July 4. He admitted having four beers that he stole from his mother. His BAC was 0.10.
19A 37-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and driving while suspended after driving erratically in the 1600 block of West Brown Deer Road about 1 a.m. July 10. The man failed field sobriety tests. His BAC was 0.26.
20An undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash were taken from the 1600 block of East Olive Street on July 4. There was sign of forced entry.
21Two bicycles valued at $720 were taken from a garage in the 4400 block of North Prospect Avenue on July 5.
22A 29-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic and criminal damage to property after she threw items belonging to her live-in boyfriend onto the front yard, causing damage to some of the things in the 4400 block of North Woodburn Street at 10 p.m. July 6.
23Two 19-year-old Shorewood men were arrested for possession of five marijuana pipes as they rode in a UWM club car in the 2000 block of East Edgewood Avenue at 8:30 a.m. July 7. UWM police were called to the scene and arrested the men for theft of the car.
24An 18-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for disorderly conduct after a relative reported him throwing items in the house while using profane language in the 3900 block of North Murray Avenue at noon July 8.
25A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 3800 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2 a.m. July 9. His BAC was 0.31.
26A 15-year-old Shorewood boy was arrested for assault of a 16-year-old Whitefish Bay boy on the bike path near the 4100 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2 p.m. July 9. The boy had many injuries to his face, including a broken nose. Other arrests are pending.
27Two tools to locate underground utilities valued at $3,000 were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 5600 block of North Lydell Avenue on July 7 or 8.
28A car was damaged by a hit-and-run driver at Dominican High School, 120 E. Silver Spring Drive, between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 8.
29A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and driving after revocation with a prior conviction after he drove the wrong way on Palisades Road at 3:20 a.m. July 11. His BAC was 0.20.
30Two windows facing the alley were found broken at Amini Oriental Rugs, 517 E. Silver Spring Drive, on July 11.
31Three women and three men, 18 and 19 from Shorewood, were to be mailed citations for being in Klode Park, 5900 N. Lake Drive, after hours at 10 p.m. July 11. According to witnesses, the women had been skinny dipping while the men sat on the beach.
32A camera, wallet, makeup bag and other items valued at $460 were taken from an unlocked car in the 800 block of East Birch Avenue on July 12 or 13.
