BAYSIDE

An alleged armed robber left with an undisclosed amount of cash from Great Midwest Bank, 505 W. Brown Deer Road, about 9:20 a.m. March 30. The man told the teller he had a gun, but he did not display it.

BROWN DEER

More than $4,000 worth of merchandise was taken from the car/audio department at American TV, 6700 W. Brown Deer Road, at 6:20 p.m. Feb. 27 and reported to police March 28 after an inventory.

A flat-screen television valued at $300 was taken from a resident's room at Brown Deer Manor, 8238 N. 44th St., prior to 11 a.m. March 9.

A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl, a student at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., was cited for disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon, a spring-loaded knife, at 11:23 a.m. March 16. Police were called because the girl became loud while speaking with an assistant principal about a possible theft.

Three kitchen windows valued at $1,500 were broken at a house in the 8200 block of North 51st Street at 1:15 a.m. March 22.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for theft and possession of 1.5 grams of marijuana found in her purse after her arrest for taking clothing valued at $77 from Old Navy, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:35 p.m. March 26.

A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after yelling and swearing in the parking lot of Park View Pub, 7651 N. Teutonia Ave., at 2:23 a.m. March 28. A 38-year-old Milwaukee man, an employee of the bar, also was cited for disorderly conduct after he hit the other Milwaukee man in the side of the face.

Two Milwaukee girls, ages 16 and 17, were arrested for theft after they took clothing valued at $236 from Old Navy, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, at 6:49 p.m. March 28.

A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was cited for underage drinking and possession of 0.4 grams of marijuana in the 9400 block of North 49th Street at 4:25 a.m. March 29 after police responded to a complaint about loud noise.

A 64-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for his third drunken-driving offense, refusing a blood test and resisting an officer after being stopped in the 5900 block of West Green Brook Drive after driving erratically at 6 p.m. April 1. He struggled against an officer attempting to hold him still for a blood test at a local hospital.

Two Brown Deer boys, ages 14 and 15, were cited for disorderly conduct after they fought at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 8 a.m. April 2.

Bathroom accessories valued at $200 were taken by a three suspects from Anna's Linens, 9150 N. and Green Bay Road, at 8:01 p.m. April 2. They fled in a car without license plates.

FOX POINT

Six pieces of mail containing bill payments were taken from a mailbox in the 8200 block of North Lake Drive prior to 5:50 p.m. April 1. Torn-apart envelopes were found in the home owner's yard. The incident was forwarded to the postal inspector.

A 20-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for trespassing and underage drinking in a dormitory at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, at 12:15 p.m. April 3. The man previously had been told by officials that he was not allowed to be in the building. His blood-alcohol content was 0.139.

A 17-year-old Shorewood boy was cited for underage drinking and possession of 1 gram of tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient in marijuana, at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, at 12:57 a.m. April 4. His BAC was 0.01.

Three Milwaukee men, two 18-year-olds and one 19-year-old, were arrested for taking four bottles of alcohol valued at $175 from CVS Pharmacy, 8661 N. Port Washington Road, at 4:15 p.m. April 4.

Police responded to one domestic incident last week.

GLENDALE

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving, operating after suspension, unlawful U-turn and possession of marijuana in the 5500 block of North Port Washington Road about 1:45 a.m. March 29 after making an illegal U-turn at a traffic light. His blood-alcohol content was 0.1. He also was found with 2 grams of marijuana.

A house was ransacked and $860 taken from a bedroom drawer in the 2800 block of West Mill Road between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. March 30. A kitchen screen had been pulled off and the window opened.

A 27-year-old Waukesha man was taken to a local hospital after the brakes on a car failed and he hit the building of Andrew Chevrolet, 1500 W. Silver Spring Drive, while trying to go to its car wash about 1:15 p.m. April 2. The vehicle was going an estimated 10 to 15 mph. No damage estimate was available.

A 19-year-old woman, two 17-year-old girls and a 15-year-old girl, all from Milwaukee, were cited for disorderly conduct after a fight at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, about 2:35 p.m. April 2. The 19-year-old woman, a former Nicolet student, brought the two 17-year-old girls, from Whitefish Bay and South Division high schools, to fight the 15-year-old girl, who is a Nicolet student. The Whitefish Bay student was taken to a local hospital after the fight; the South Division student also was cited for battery.

A window was smashed on a vehicle at the Radisson Hotel Milwaukee North Shore, 7065 N. Port Washington Road, between 4 p.m. April 2 and 8:40 a.m. April 3. A bag containing a cell phone and charger and a cell phone hands-free device was taken from the back seat. The items are valued at $400. No damage estimate was available.

A cell phone valued at $400 and a wallet valued at $20 and containing debit cards and $3 were taken from a vehicle in a parking structure in the 5700 block of North Port Washington Road between 6 p.m. April 2 and 4:20 p.m. April 3. No damage estimate was available.

A vehicle window was smashed on the second floor of a parking structure in the 5800 block of North Bayshore Drive between 8 to 8:15 p.m. April 2. Damage is estimated $300. Nothing was taken.

A 78-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to a local hospital with a knee injury after a three-car accident on Port Washington Road at Glen Bay Avenue about 11:10 a.m. April 3. A 42-year-old Port Washington woman was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign on Glen Bay after pulling in front of a car driven by 33-year-old Milwaukee woman, who swerved, hitting the car driven by the 78-year-old woman. The impact sent the 78-year-old woman's car across all oncoming lances and into a concrete barrier.

A television valued at $300 was taken from a home in the 5600 block of North 27th Street between noon April 3 and 5:30 p.m. April 4. A side door had been forced open. The garage also was broken into and an inoperable snowblower valued at $10 taken.

A 12-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for disorderly conduct about 5:50 p.m. April 3 after he threw pieces of plastic onto Interstate 43.

A Milwaukee woman, 19, and two Milwaukee girls, 13 and 14, were cited for theft after trying to take an estimated $218 worth of clothing from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, about 6:45 p.m. April 3. The woman had a toddler and a 4-year-old with her during the theft.

RIVER HILLS

A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving in the 2000 block of West Brown Deer Road about 2:35 a.m. March 31 after he was found asleep with the car running and his foot on the brake. He refused a breath test.

SHOREWOOD

A window was shattered at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of North Cramer Street between 9 p.m. April 1 and 9:15 a.m. April 2. Damage is estimated at $500.

Light fixtures and framed art were damaged at a condominium complex in the 1800 block of East Shorewood Boulevard about 5 a.m. April 3. A damage estimate was not available. A false fire alarm also was activated.

A 17-year-old Shorewood boy was cited for underage possession of alcohol near the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Wood Place at 8:10 p.m. April 3.

A tire was slashed on a vehicle in the 2100 block of East Capitol Drive prior to 9:18 p.m. April 3. A damage estimate was not available.

Police responded to one domestic incident last week.

WHITEFISH BAY

A wallet containing $16 and credit cards was taken in the 300 block of East Silver Spring Drive between 4 and 5:20 p.m. March 31. About $1,600 in unauthorized charges were made on the cards before the accounts were closed by the owner.

A stone was thrown through a window of a house in the 600 block of East Hampton Road between 5 p.m. April 3 and 8 a.m. April 4. Damage is estimated at $70.

NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters answered 104 calls, 79 emergency medical and 25 fire/rescue, from March 30 to April 5.

Firefighters found an overheated electrical box in a building in the 4100 block of West Rivers Edge Circle, Brown Deer, at 9:38 a.m. March 30 and disconnected the box.

Firefighters put out a fire in the engine of a car in the 5600 block of North Bayshore Drive, Glendale, at 9:53 p.m. April 3. The car was a total loss.
