Parents of the engaged couple are Daryl and Rita Melzer of Shorewood and James and Linnea Collis of Fox Point.
The bride-to-be earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington Hospitals, Seattle.
The groom earned his nursing degree at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is an oncology nurse specialist at Virginia Mason Hospital, Seattle.
