Goodwin, 60 years
Nathan and Eleanor Goodwin recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
They were married Sept. 4, 1949, at the Shorecrest Hotel in Milwaukee. They marked the occasion with an anniversary party Sept. 5, 2009, at the Laurel Oaks Retirement Community in Glendale, where they have resided for the past six years.
Nathan and Eleanor are the parents of Jack (Pat), Richard (Susan), Alan (Corky) and Julie (Michael). They are the grandparents of Stephanie, Hannah, Emily, Molly, Jordon, Nora and Erica.
Nathan was the manager at Sherkow for 35 years. Eleanor was a secretary in the Milwaukee Public Schools for seven years.
