Obituary
COMMUNITY POLICY: Obituaries are published free of charge in the communities where the deceased lived and where immediate family members live.
NAME POLICY: Community Newspapers does not use courtesy titles, such as Mr., Mrs. or Dr. First and last names are required for everyone mentioned in the obituary.
PHOTO POLICY: Photos will be returned only if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is provided.
PHOTO CRITERIA: Black-and-white or color, high-quality photos of the couple may be submitted up to size 8-by-10. Vertical photos work best. We do not pay for the use of photos, nor will we publish the name of the photographer. We reserve the right not to publish a photo at the discretion of the editor.
E-MAIL SUBMISSIONS: We welcome obituaries submitted via e-mail. Type “obituary” in the subject line and send it to news@cninow.com. Photos, in .jpg format, also may be sent via e-mail, with the name of the deceased and a contact's phone number in the body of the message. We require a resolution of at least 200 dpi for photos 5-by-7 or larger or 300 dpi for smaller photos.
