District moves forward with Lake Bluff improvements

Shorewood - Superintendent Blane McCann on Monday updated the Village Board about the Lake Bluff School park project.

Fencing around the school will be replaced, and the smaller soccer field will receive sod. The larger soccer field will be seeded, which means no one will be allowed on the field until June. Electrical work that runs under the fields will be moved before the fields are replanted so they will not have to be dug up later.

McCann said he believes the project will help recreation programming. Work should be done by Sept. 15.
