BirdFest at Wehr Nature Center
Back by popular demand, "BirdFest" will take place at the Wehr Nature Center, 9701 W. College Ave., in Franklin on Sunday, May 2 from 1pm to 4pm. Meet live birds, play the bird beak game, and learn from experts on how to turn your backyard into a bird haven. Bird educators will be available to teach about a wide range of bird topics. Spend Mother's Day with Friends at Boerner
The Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens invites everyone to attend an afternoon of activities on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 9th from 10am to 3pm. Children can participate in making a seed-mat to plant at home, the creation of a paper butterfly greeting card, and putting together a paper flower pin.
