Village to receive "Good Government" award
The Village of Bayside has been selected as the recipient of the 2009 “Good Government” award. The Wisconsin Good Government Award program is sponsored by Foth, a Wisconsin-based consulting engineering firm, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Counties Association, the League of Wisconsin Municipalities and the Wisconsin Towns Association.
The 2009 award is the result of a collective effort of implementing the five long term strategic initiatives adopted by the Village Board of Trustees. The award recognizes Bayside’s innovation, creativity, and doing more with fewer resources to implement the five long term strategic initiatives. Specifically referenced were the Village communication and performance measurement programs.
